Inspired by his own child’s encounter with an online predator, Tim Woda is a passionate advocate for protecting children from today’s scariest digital dangers – predators, sexting and cyberbullying. Co-founder of KidSafe, Tim raises awareness of these issues with parents by volunteering at schools, churches and other organizations and delivering free Internet & Mobile Safety Workshops. Tim has also shared his Internet trust and safety experience and insights as a presenter at national Internet conferences including Online Market World, eTail East, ECMTA Summits and more.
These innovative workshops utilize the latest statistics, resources, videos, and expert tips to educate and empower parents and trusted adults so that they can keep their children safe online. This workshop is facilitated by Tim Woda at no cost to either the host or attendees. Download a Workshop Outline for more detailed information.
This 45-minute Internet & Mobile Safety Workshop is designed to give parents and guardians of children ages 5-17:
- A clear understanding of the issues their kids are facing (cyberbullying, revealing too much including sexting and predators),
- The resources they need to help them communicate with their kids about making safer decisions,
- And access to a Parental Intelligence System that makes it easy for them to be adequately engaged with their child’s digital life.
